BEEMARS
BEEMARS
Perched on the third floor of a Kabukicho 2-chome building, BEEMARS pairs a casual setting with an extensive drinks lineup—from Yamazaki, Hakushu, and bourbons to cocktails and bar bites.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
An elevator ride to the third floor of a multi-tenant building tucked into a Kabukicho backstreet brings you to BEEMARS, a bar set slightly apart from the neighbourhood's neon-lit hum. Inside, an unpretentious and casual mood sets in across counter seats, small tables, and an open-air balcony that catches the night breeze.
The back bar holds a wide spread of spirits, with Japanese whiskies ranging from familiar pours like Kakubin and Black Nikka to notable distillery bottlings such as Yamazaki, Hakushu, Yoichi, and Hibiki. Bourbon drinkers will find labels including Jack Daniel's, Maker's Mark, Wild Turkey, and Four Roses, alongside scotches like Chivas Regal Mizunara and Laphroaig, ready to be poured neat, on the rocks, or mixed to taste.
Those in the mood for something else can turn to well-chilled draft beer, cocktails, and champagne, as well as Urakasumi sake and shochu selections like Iichiko and Kinmiya. For grazing between sips, the bar menu covers comforting staples such as sausage platters, freshly fried french fries, pickles, nuts, and popcorn. A handwritten whiteboard periodically introduces a weekly lineup of five recommended drinks or specials, offering something new to explore on repeat visits.
A two-hour all-you-can-drink plan covering designated beverages is also available, making the venue equally suited for a quiet solo nightcap at the counter or an unhurried catch-up with friends.
